A very smelly object, when I was a child, this is still a mosquito killer! Knowledge points used: scanning, rotation, Boolean, etc.
C4D R17
Import the material into the background image (face image) and adjust the position at the background setting of the face image. Because most of the objects are symmetrical cylinders, the center coordinates can be easily modeled.
Do the lower part of the lamp first, this part is the glass body, and draw the outline side with the spline line. This lower part is obtained by rotation. Note that the background map only serves as a reference and proportional reference, and it is not necessary to force everything to be the same.
The handshake part can be obtained by scanning. Above the handshake there is a clamp, which can be subdivided with a cube. Group the resulting models and rename them for later editing. After scanning by sectional lines, you can adjust the scale of the object in the details of the scanning properties to get the desired shape.
Draw the threaded connection part of the lamp; This part is metal and is connected to the vitreous body below. Outline with a spline, obtained by rotation.
Drawing the guardrail part of the lampshade, because there are two sets of empty shapes; Rotate out the whole fence first. Then draw the upper and lower layers of the empty pattern, extruded after display, adjust the display radius. The guardrail part of the lampshade can be obtained by Boolean operation. The metal parts obtained in the above two steps are just sheets, without thickness, and the thickness can be added by cloth in the simulation.
Draw adjustment needle. Plot the path and scan it. The wick and lampshade parts are also obtained by rotation; Just draw the contoured splines with reference to the picture. Separate the parts into groups for easy rendering and management.
These are some of my experiences recorded in the process of learning to use c4d. I hope you can give me more advice and learn from each other. Vote, like, follow, can help everyone the best! Thank you!
